Behind the Words.
I translate from English into French with a focus on voice, intent, and flow — not just meaning. Much of my work centres on texts where tone matters: literary, cultural, and editorial writing that demands accuracy, stylistic nuance, and contextual sensitivity.
I’m a certified translator and a member of the Société française des traducteurs (SFT) — France’s national association of professional translators — as well as the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). Based in Switzerland, I collaborate remotely with publishers, agencies, and creative teams across Europe and beyond.
Recent projects span fiction, biography, essays, and non-fiction, as well as museum texts, exhibition catalogues, architectural narratives, and websites. I also adapt audiovisual content with close attention to both language and form. Bilingual revision and French proofreading are part of the process, ensuring precision and coherence across every version.
Trained in SEO translation and audiovisual adaptation, I approach each project with linguistic rigour and editorial sensitivity. My academic background — in literature, cultural studies, linguistics, and learning theory — shapes this perspective, and my grounding in film and photography helps me frame voice, image, and narrative with intention.
Interior design is an area of growing focus, supported by hands-on experience and sustained research into its vocabulary, materials, and aesthetic logic.
